Guild Wars 2 Date Reconfirmation.

It is true that Guild Wars 2 on the blog says It will be ready when it’s ready, but through searching through 3rd party sources you can confirm a few explanatory dates.

According to GameSpy Editor & Chief , William Tuttle, the official release date is now being set for November 2, 2011, confirmed from ArenaNet executives. I confirmed this through various MMO sites if others care to look into the same article threads. There was also a leaked article made available through GW2′s Eric Flannum, that the official date is also for November 2nd. It has been stressed that November 2nd is the date also that the team will try and get everything accomplished for. So it has been known for a while that November 2nd is the initial goal date of release for Guild Wars 2. Thus leading to Gamestop using it as a Place Holder. Good news is that this date the game at most can be pushed too. It can only be released earlier since November 2nd is the date of “Everything HAS to be completed by November 2nd”.

Many companies as well as EB Games Canada, Game Stop America used the information as a place holder for Pre-Orders.

To find information is to not go to the source, but outside sources.

But as the best guess for a date Goes, November 2 is still Prime.

A Shout out.

To my favourite Korean friend Yumikinz. For loving Guild Wars. ;]

Guild Wars 2, Fallout style exploration.

When you play the game, you have an option of exploring the world, by yourself with no set goals. If you happen to come across a quest you do it and have fun. Kinda like Fallout.

Some people, on the other hand, like direction and like knowing where to go and knowing where to have fun. There is a scouting system, that pin points interesting “Scouts” that will tell you where to go, usually with a lot of events happening.

Guild Wars 2 Sidekick System Explained.

Say you are level 20, and your friend started playing. In traditional MMO’s you’ll destroy everything in 2 hits in that low level area and you and your friend won’t have as much fun. You’ll have to start a new character.

Side Kick System: Say you are level 20 and your friend starts playing, He’s level 2. When you go paly with him in his area, You will be Side kicked to Level 2 damage and ect. so you 2 can both have fun at the same time.

Not to mention your level 2 friend can come to your area, and be side kicked to level 20, (But in essence is still level 2 getting level 2 experience) This creates a more community play together game!
